Bikes, Customers and being with Dad
This is still the ITOM but with Dad being the distributor for Montesa motorcycles, we advertised the marque on my machine and helmet.  The Tank and Fairing were also Montesa as they were available for the Season.
The big fin barrel designed by Jim Bound, my father, in 1959 to give better cooling to the ITOM 50cc engine. At about 12,000revs plus the engine would glow a dull shade of red and with the extra surface area of the fins this was reduced. So was the possibility of a seizure.
